Gender in English Grammar with All Types Information in Hindi
Gender Definition in English – The form of noun, pronoun or verb which has a sense of caste of person, object and emotion is called ‘Gender’ in English grammar.
Gender Definition in Hindi – संज्ञा, सर्वनाम या क्रिया के जिस रूप से व्यक्ति, वस्तु और भाव की जाति का बोध हो, उसे इंग्लिश ग्रामर में ‘Gender’ कहा जाता है।
Types of Gender in English Grammar – जेंडर के प्रकार
English Grammar में जेंडर के चार प्रकार होते हैं जो की निम्नलिखित हैं –
1 . Masculine Gender (पुल्लिंग)
2 . Feminine Gender (स्त्रीलिंग)
3 . Common Gender (उभय लिंग)
4 . Neuter Gender (नपुंसक लिंग)
1 . Masculine Gender –
Definition in English – The masculine gender denotes a male.
Definition in Hindi – Masculine Gender से नर जाति का बोध होता हैं।
Examples –
Ram, Rohan, Sohan, Man, Father, Actor, Tiger, Horse, Hero, Boy and Many Others.
2 . Feminine Gender –
Definition in English – The feminine gender denotes a female.
Definition in Hindi – Feminine Gender से मादा जाति का बोध होता हैं।
Examples –
Sita, Gita, Rita, Woman, Mother, Actress, Cow and Many Others.
3 . Common Gender –
Definition in English – The common gender denotes that the noun is either a male or a female.
Definition in Hindi – Common Gender से यह बोध होता है की Noun या तो नर जाति का है या मादा जाति का।
Examples –
child, doctor, teacher, parent, person, student, baby, servant, writer, singer, clerk, bird, deer, sheep, elephant, fox, author, driver, speaker, guest and Many Others.
4 . Neuter Gender –
Definition in English – The neuter gender denotes that the noun is neither a male nor a female.
Definition in Hindi – Neuter Gender से यह बोध होता है की Noun न तो नर जाति का है, न मादा जाति का।
Examples –
wood, oil, crow, ant, bench, school, book, pen, class, watch, honesty, army and Many Others.
Note :- निर्जीव पदार्थों, कीड़ों-मकोड़ों और छोटे-छोटे जानवरों को इसी श्रेणी में रखा गया हैं। Collective Noun, Material Noun और Abstract Noun को भी इसी श्रेणी (Neuter Gender) में रखा गया हैं।
